Jesus slept within Her arms
Mary she slept too
As angles played a lullaby
With love and gratitude

Grateful for His presence
Here upon the earth
This Child of Love and Beauty
The Father's sweet Rebirth

How great this Love with the heart
The beauty of this sight
The Mother and the Child of God
They share this special night

Held within each others arms
Each hear loves sweetest song
The miracle of special love
Now in our world belongs

Christmas night the angels came
Within their hearts such glow
Mary slept as Jesus kept
His mother's heartbeat slow

So on this very sacred night
When Mother's heart did press
Close to Heart of Baby's love
 This night God's sweet duet.
