SOMEONE

I'm tired of being alone,
By myself with no one near.
I need to feel loved and wanted,
By someone close and dear.

I want to be desired and cared for,
By someone other than me,
Someone who'll return my giving,
And fill my heart with glee.

Someone that I can turn to,
With my problems and my fears,
Someone who'll care and listen,
Someone to dry my tears.

Someone to hold me closely,
With her compassion and her love,
That very special person,
Who'll be sent by God above.

Someone completely open,
Who'll share her life with me,
As we live each day together,
With passion and intimacy.

Someone who'll share the good times,
Someone who'll share the bad,
Someone that I can care for,
And make our living glad.
