Angel watching closely
While quietly they rest
Holding light of beauty
Her soul with love caressed

Watching in contentment
At every breath they take
Praying for their happiness
With smile when they awake

Standing in such honor
Each child of love so near
Held with such devotion
With love that is sincere

Wings to guard while sleeping
To bring a peaceful glow
Upon the face of heaven
This child who she loves so

Candle glowing softly
In darkness of the night
Child in wings of beauty
Held with love so tight

Adoring peace that's given
For all in restful sleep
Gift of Heaven's Father
Angel's love to keep.
