A Very Special Friend

She's a special friend,
In this cruel world today,
Who is loving and caring,
And who goes out of her way,

By sacrificing her time,
At Some personal risk,
To bring life and health,
Through her aid and assist.

To all of God's creatures,
She's heard her life's call,
Whether human or beast,
She ministers to all.

She could be loaded down,
With many trials of her own,
But still she goes forth,
Healing spirit and bone.

To some she brings food,
And a place to abide,
To others she listens,
Or just gives a ride.

You're a blessing from God,
And a special friend, too,
You've helped heal my heart,
And I truly think you.
