Friendship
Friendship, oh what a beautiful thing
Brightening sad eyes and making hearts sing!
Causing the pain and the sorrow to go,
Reviving the spirit fallen so low.
Friendship means trust, safety, and love,
And was given to man by our God above,
To work a healing and renewing of soul,
Replacing lost pieces and making one whole.
Through God's grace our eyes, are opened to see,
So together we'll grow through His clarity,
Ending the confusion of this worldly maze,
Bring the truth by removing the haze.
Getting together we fulfill many needs,
Receiving a healing through our words and deeds,
Whether fighting loneliness, sadness, or pain
Friendship restores us to a full life again.
