My Humble PrayerBefore I go to sleep
And before this day will end
I kneel before you God
My Lord, my precious friend.
I Thank you for your kindness
You showed the whole day through
And the days that passed before me Lord
And the days yet to come true.
I also ask for your dear guidance
For tomorrow is another day
From my foes please do protect me
Don't let them harm me in anyway.
I also ask for will and strength
I badly needed to go on
There's a lot pain, lots of temptation
I believe you'll make me strong.
I also pray for my partner in life
Bind us together in love
Through joy and strife
Let our love grow trhough all kinds of weather
For in unity I know we can serve You better.
Do not forget my dearest child
The greatest gift I received from You
Let him grow in resemblance of You
In every word, in every deed
Make him pure and true
Let our home be a warm place of refuge
From the cruelties of the world
Make me an instrument to guide him
In serving you my Lord.
And with all of these
I let my mind drift to sleep
Tomorrow I will witness another beautiful day
