What is love,
Without commitment?
Like a toothless Bengal tiger,
Trying to sustain it's own life.
What is love,
Without compassion?
Like a cold, damp wall,
That separates and divides.
What is love,
Without forgiveness?
Like standing in a tsunami wave,
With no escape.
What is love,
Without selflesness?
Like an island of one,
Where life is only brief.
What is love,
Without action?
Just a short little word,
That means nothing.
