Services

Group, Family, and Individual Therapy

CRC succeeds with families in need because we evaluate, consult, support and guide everyone involved in the life of the child. Additionally, in our provision of child psychiatric services, CRC employs caring practitioners who are specialists in the field.

School-Based Services

CRC partners with many of the Wood County schools to provide school-based mental health services. We also house, in our main location, a specialized school for Severely Emotionally Disturbed (SED) children, from all Wood County schools and from the surrounding counties.

Partial Hospitalization

CRC prevents out of home placements in its highly structured after school therapeutic setting in our main location. This innovative day treatment program promotes healthy relationships and clear thinking/decision making for youth through behavioral and social skills training.

Community Support Programs

Our teams of intensive home-based workers and community support professionals assist the children and their families in their homes, their schools and their community. An intensive home-based worker will meet with a family a minimum of two times each week for several months to support the family through a crisis period.

Crisis Intervention Services

CRC provides 24/7 crisis services. CRC's on-call therapists work with Wood County families and children in need to meet and make plans for everyone's safety when a crisis occurs. We also are recognized as a leader in our work with children in Suicide Prevention/Treatment services.

Residential Services

CRC provides safe, secure, 24/7 care for children ages 2-17 for short term treatment, crisis intervention, assessment and extensive evaluation. Positive social skills and age appropriate responsibilities are practiced daily with the focus on the child's wellness as the overall goal.

Prevention

CRC believes in the concept of home and community-based prevention services for children, birth to 5 years. Programs are provided in the home, at the agency and in various locations. We also provide preschool sexual abuse prevention programming.
