BOOTS
By Elizabeth J. Windom
I have a dog his name is Boots.
He digs in the ground and looks for roots.
He can do tricks, like sit,
But he never seems to stick.
Give me a paw,
But don't jump tall.
Turn around,
And touch the ground.
Get your tail,
But donot wail.
Now you're a good dog,
Don't eat like a hog.
Now here's a bisciut,
Or here, try a Triscuit.
Oh no, don't run away!
I'll be patient if you stay.
Good boy,
Here's your little squeaky toy.
Nighty night.
