We would like to set up a computer lab for high school special students. (mostly LD and DH)
We have some ideas of what we want, but we are very interested in any helpful information that you might have.
We don't have any money for computers, but that is another problem that we are working on. If we could get the funding, we want to be ready.
- What kind of hardware would you suggest?
- What would be the best software to have?
- Are the good programs for high school (especially content areas like history, health, science, vocational,etc) ?
- How should we physically set up the lab?
- What problems should we anticipate?
- What teaching methods could we use?
- What are some strengths and what are some weaknesses when teaching with computers?
As you can see, we are open to any suggestions you might give.
