Personal Information:
James
F. Zeigler, CPA
I am a faculty member in the
Accounting & MIS Department at Bowling Green State
University (BGSU) in Bowling Green, Ohio. Financial, Managerial and
Tax Accounting topics are all areas of professional interest.
Currently, I am focused on the use of simulations to support development of quantitative
and qualitative decision-making skills within my managerial accounting
courses. As opposed to traditional lecture, I promote an
active pedagogy within the classroom to facilitate student involvement in
their learning. A primary teaching goal is to improve
student understanding of the interdisciplinary nature of business.
Inquiries are welcome.
