Hi! My name is Friday, and this is my web page. It tells a little
bit about me and has some pictures of me and my family. My mum and dad are
Dustin and Julie, who adopted me in April 2000. I was about nine
months old when they rescued me from the Bowling Green animal shelter. I
was only two days away from being put down, so I was really glad to have a
family that I could love. A beagle-sheltie mix, I only weigh around 30
pounds. Mummy and daddy tell me that I am pretty smart, and I even know a
bunch of commands ... but sometimes I pretend not to listen when they
tell me "heal." During the day I stay in a pen in the back yard,
where I like taking naps in the sunlight and digging holes. Once mummy
and daddy come home from work, they take me on a walk then bring me inside the
house. I have lots of toys in the house, so I am never bored. At
night I normally sleep on the floor beside mummy and daddy's bed, or if I am
really good, I get to sleep at the foot of their bed.
Here are some of my pictures. Click on the thumbnail to see the larger
photograph. Additional photos can be found on our new picture sharing site: http://kralizec.smugmug.com/

When it snows, daddy hooks me up to my boy's sled and I get to be a
sled-dog!
My young master likes to read books. Sometime he even reads them to me.
When my boy decides to share his leftovers with me, I am only too happy to
dig in!
Sometimes mummy and daddy carry both of us.
Here we are enjoying a walk with uncle Clint, our neighbour Ben,
and his mom Rachael.
Like a good guard dog, I am on constant alert to any possible danger to my
boy.
Time for me and my boy to take a nap!
Must ... groom ... young ... master's ... feet ... !
Sometimes the puppy Star does not share the couch very well, but I do not
give her much of a choice when it comes to napping in one of the sunbeams
in the sun room.
My boy thinks I make a good back prop!
Part of my job as family protector is to keep mummy and my boy Xander safe
and sound. In this photo I am keeping them both securely under my
paw.
My boy makes a good cuddle buddy. I cannot wait until he is big enough to play!
Here I am visiting with mummy's class during recess.
This is my first time swimming!
Daddy calls this one "a boy and his dog" but I think it should be called "a dog and his boy."
I made sure to visit Zanesville the same weekend as cousin Taylor that way she could give me a walk.
This is me fresh from the groomer. I got my coat shampooed and cut, my nails trimmed, and a nifty new bandanna.
Now I look and smell great!
When uncle Chuck and aunt Aimee came to visit, they brought their dog Patches. Having a play pal for the weekend
was really nice!
Here I am playing with my best friend, Star. She is the funniest acting -and looking- puppy I have ever known, but she
is a lot of fun to play with.
Here I am wresting with Star. For a little puppy she sure has sharp teeth!
Merry Christmas!
I really like it when Great-Grandpa pets me. He says that I am a "good doggie."
For Halloween I dressed up like a witch. All of the neighbourhood kids loved me. Do you like my witch's hat
and cape? I wanted a broom to ride, but mummy was afraid that I would chew it up.
In this picture uncle Jeff and I are taking a break from cutting up firewood.
While out on a walk one fall day, mummy, daddy, and I found an abandoned baby. We adopted her into our family and named
her Star. I like to give her lots of love, attention, and help her wash behind her ears.
Time for a nap! This is my doggie bed that sits right beside mommy and daddy's couch. I like to nap here when
they watch that boring television thing.
Mummy took this picture of me and daddy standing at the bank of the Maumee river. Right after this I pulled daddy
into the river when I jumped in after a fish. He was not very happy with me.
Mummy, daddy, and I went camping with Granny and Pa-Paw on July Fourth. There were tons of strange, new
things for me to sniff there. I had heaps of fun!!
Uncle Marc took me on a walk when he came up to visit. Now I hope he will give me a doggie treat!
When I get hot, I like to stand in my water bowl to cool off. This is at Granny and Pa-Paw's house. I
love to run around their fenced-in yard!
Here I am relaxing on the couch in the sunroom. Even though I am not supposed to be on the furniture unless
invited there by an adult, I like to sit here and look out the windows.
When mummy's new exercise machine came, daddy and I played in the packing box.
Here is a close-up of me playing. I was all ready to be boxed up and shipped to you!
Putting all of those ornaments on the Christmas tree is hard work. Time for me to take a break!
This autumn family picture was taken in the side yard of our house. I really like it when the leaves fall off the
trees, because then we can play in the leaf piles!
Here I am wrestling with mummy. This is in the back yard of my house, just outside my pen. I have a lot of
energy and love to play.
When Great-Aunt Emily and cousin Taylor flew in from California for a visit, I had to make sure that they did not have any
crumbs on them...
In this photo, mummy and I are sitting in the basement at Nana's house. I like going to Nana and Pop-Pop's
house because they have a cat and dog that I play with.
I had only been with mummy and daddy about a month when this picture was taken. Daddy and I are sitting by the
flower garden in the back yard. I liked to chase the butterflies around the flowers!
