Not an Oscar-specific link, but a good resource non-the-less, visit
Aquaria Central
A great site for the beginning aquarist, go to
Nick's Lighthouse
The OSCAR Study Page. This is a great site for info on the wonderful Oscar.
Oscars on the Web is a pretty good resource for Oscar lovers. One note, the person who made the page says that s/he taught his/her Oscar to jump out of the tank for food. THIS IS NOT A GOOD IDEA! Your Oscar can hurt himself and/or jump out of the tank.
Oscar Information. One of the first Oscar Pages I saw.
Info on Hole in the Head Disease -- important for Oscar owners to know about.
Oscars by Sam McDonald.
This is a huge page of links. Fish Link Central seems to have everything.
Don't forget to visit The Cichlid Center. It's a good sight for the cichlid enthusiast.
JAWS, which stands for Just Aquaria Web Site. It has a lot of info and a lot of message boards and stuff for beginning aquarists. Also see the Nitrogen Cycle. This is really important when setting up a new aquarium.
From the JAWS sight, I found a great resource called Journal of a Fish Enthusiast. I was just going to read a little bit of this personal journal, but I was hooked. It's not an Oscar specific sight, but this is a great sight for beginning breeders and aquarists alike.
Back to Oscars are people too!
