Maumee Valley Unitarian Universalist Congregation

Who Are We?

MVUUC is founded on the traditions of Unitarian Universalism. Unitarian Universalism does not impose a particular statement of belief. Our religious heritage is built on freedom of belief, tolerance and reason. As a member congregation of the Unitarian Universalist Association we affirm and promote:

  • The inherent worth and dignity of every person
  • Justice, equity and compassion in human relations
  • Acceptance of one another and encouragement to spiritual growth
  • A free and responsible search for truth and meaning
  • The right of conscience and the use of the democratic process
  • The goal of world community with peace, liberty and justice for all
  • Respect for the interdependent web of existence of which we are all part
The MVUUC congregation is comprised of a spiritually diverse group, ranging in age from 3 to 93.

The members of MVUUC developed a Covenant of Respect to strengthen our bonds as a community, while building the trust that allows individuals to travel on their journeys. Click here to see this covenant.

We invite you to attend our Sunday services to gain an appreciation for the diversity of our programs. As you continue to attend, we invite you to consider becoming a member.

If your time permits, please join us after the program for tea and coffee. The first Sunday or each month we hold a potluck luncheon. You are invited to join us in good food and conversation, even if you have not brought any food.
