Rally Obedience is done on an Agility-type course but consists of a sequence of traditional Obedience-like exercises, each identified by a sign. The Rally course resembles Agility in that the course is different in each Trial and handlers may talk to, signal, and encourage their dogs. The Rally course includes elements of Obedience such as heeling, changes of pace, recalls, and turns. The elements are combined into a flowing course to make the event fun for both dog and trainer. Rally Obedience became an AKC-Titled class on January 1, 2005, leading to Rally Novice, Rally Advanced and Rally Excellent titles.

REFUNDS: No refunds will be granted without the agreement of the Obedience Training Director and/or the TKC Board of Directors. All requests for refunds must be made in writing before the beginning of the second week of classes. Fees may be refunded before the second class meeting if the handler withdraws from the class or if the dog's behavior is such that it represents a threat to other dogs or people. No refunds will be given after the second week of classes is completed. In case of an injury or serious illness, the Director may agree to let a student register for the next session of classes.

All classes must be paid for in full by the time of registration. No confirmation of enrollment will be mailed. However, if a class is cancelled, or if a class fills, individuals who have registered in advance will be notified and their money returned.

HEALTH RECORDS: All handlers must bring an up-to-date health records before they will be admitted to class. This is for your dog's protection as well as others enrolled in classes. The health certificate should list date of fecal check (within last two months), shots for parvo, distemper, leptospirosis, hepatitis and rabies. No dog will be admitted without the certificate.
